How It Works

To qualify for a loan with Yuppie Cash make sure the following applies:

Ø  Permanently Employed

Ø  A bank account that your salary gets deposited into on a monthly basis

Ø  No judgements, defaults or blacklistings against your name

To apply, follow our easy step by step application process. Once we have received your request, our
consultants will process the information you have submitted to us.

You will be sent an email with your current loan status, this can also be checked online when you sign in on your user name, you may be required to send through documents if you do not have enough credit history or an accurate decision cannot be made on the data available.

· Please ensure you provide the correct employment details, as we will be confirming your employment.

· Please ensure you provide an accurate monthly expenses amount.

You can upload these documents by logging into your user profile created when you first applied,
alternatively, you can fax them to us on 086 648 0456.

We will send you an email letting you know if your loan has been approved or not. If you are approved,
your funds will reflect into your account within 24hours.

It’s as easy as that!

Because we practise RESPONSIBLE lending, the maximum first time loan amount will be R1000.00, you
can increase this loan amount by ensuring you repay us on the agreed upon date.

Yuppie Cash also reserves the right to decline applicants who are blacklisted, have judgements against their credit record, or have defaulted with other Financial Credit Providers. Any application received meeting the above will be declined.

Building up an excellent repayment rating will allow us to grant you higher loan amounts in the future.

We know that some months are tough, so please note that if the contract is not upheld in any way by you (the client) there will be a penalty fee charged of R200.00″ However if you contact us promptly we can come to an arrangement and create a solution.


Our monthly interest rate is 5%.

Financial implications

Late interest is accumulated on a daily basis for overdue loans. A R57 service fee will be charged for loans exceeding 30 days.

Collections for overdue loans

A) Customers are called & emailed about their overdue loan status and immediate action is taken against them.

B) After 30 days the customer will receive a final letter of demand and are given 10 days to settle the outstanding amount.

C) Customers are handed over to our bad debt department where they will then continue to reclaim the outstanding loans.
